At the top of the cartouche is a small metal cross in a half-lost sphere. The cartouches feature the Resurrection and the Holy Spirit. The icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is depicted in full growth, while raising his right hand at chest level in blessing the faithful. In the left hand of the Saint is a green book. St. Nicholas is depicted in a gray-green priestly cassock. On his head is a brown-golden mitre, framed by a silver halo. The face of St. Nicholas is calm, pensive. The icon of St. Mary Magdalene. The Myrrh-bearing woman is depicted in full growth in an emerald-colored tunic, over which is thrown a red himation with a gilded collar. In the hands of the saint she holds an alabaster bottle of myrrh. Mary Magdalene’s head is tilted to her right shoulder, her face is calm and thoughtful. Around the saint’s head is a golden halo, which emits rays of radiance.
